Tension and suspense permeated the book where the author kept me on tenderhooks, and the last few chapters had to be read while walking. I was just too stressed. And when the curtains were raised on the main plotter, I had to lift my jaw off the floor. If I thought the beginning was rocking, the ending completely blew me out the literary stratosphere. I stopped breathing!!

But suffice to say, this is a very well-written book, with three dimensional characters, gripping plot, and a descriptive narrative. If you enjoy thrillers, I recommend this highly.

Dishonoured is a great read that, for me, is reminiscent of John Grisham’s early novels with all the intrigue, potential corruption, and a sizable legal aspect.

With a razor-sharp plot and lightning fast pacing, Dishonoured is a phenomenal psychological thriller. Jem Tugwell is an incredibly talented author and definitely one to watch; if you haven't discovered Jem Tugwell yet then you're missing out on a real treat. Dishonoured is absolutely brilliant and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

5*s from me as I found myself really involved with Dan, and his predicament. It was interesting to see how someone in Dan’s position was treated by the public, his peers and the law, and to wonder if this (or something similar) could happen to any of us. What an ending!
